"It's Art Stupid!" Corrupting Graffiti
This article argues for the conscious use and applied accurate education of graffiti. Reading recent examples where graffiti has been used as vandalism, I argue against an unconscious use of graffiti.
I came to graffiti through my youth. Fascinated by the designs, the techniques, the imagination, the creativity, and the ability to create art on any surface was compelling. Once I arrived at the point where I was assigned to teach about graffiti, those youthful amazements heightened.
